The bodywork I offer at Sento Life is a deeply embodied experience: through precise touch on the fascia, conscious breathing, and movement, it helps release tension, improve mobility, and restore a sense of lightness. A gentle yet powerful approach — a way to reconnect with the body as a living, free, and connected space, even in the more intense phases of life.
WHY IT’S GOOD FOR YOU
The body holds everything: stress, repressed emotions, daily tension. If we don’t pay attention, all of this can turn into recurring physical pain, muscular stiffness, and that subtle sense of always being a bit tense.
Myofascial bodywork is a deep approach that helps to release blockages and tension by working on the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs.
Through targeted pressure, fluid movement, and conscious breathing, the fascia relaxes, the muscles soften, and the body regains a sense of lightness, fluidity, and ease.
It’s also beneficial for common issues like neck and shoulder tension, lower back pain, widespread myofascial discomfort, or foot fatigue, contributing to improved mobility and overall wellbeing.
It’s like taking off a heavy backpack after carrying it for too long: suddenly, everything moves more freely, with less effort.
And it’s not just physical. When the body releases, the mind becomes lighter too. Myofascial release can lead to a deep emotional release, helping to dissolve what has been held for too long.
What follows is a renewed sense of vital energy — flowing more freely, more fully, more yours.
THE BODY'S MEMORY:
RELEASING THE FASCIA, REDISCOVERING SPACE
The myofascial tissue is an intelligent network that connects and envelops muscles, bones, organs, and the nervous system, supporting fluid movement, postural stability, and overall physical well-being.
But fascia is more than just a mechanical structure — it’s also a silent archive of our experiences. Prolonged stress, trauma, and disordered lifestyles can stiffen it, leading to chronic pain and physical limitations.
It’s not only about physical tension: fascia also holds blocked emotions — somatic memories that the body hasn’t had the chance to release. That’s why myofascial release can restore a deep sense of lightness, both physically and emotionally.
I am a certified practitioner of Myofascial Energetic Release (MER), a method developed by Satyarthi Peloquin that works deeply with the fascia, combining conscious touch, deep breathing, and targeted movement.
Through calibrated pressure, assisted stretching, and joint mobilizations, MER helps release deep tension, restore the body’s natural balance, and support organic healing.

BODY AND MIND IN CONNECTION
Physical well-being is not only about muscles and joints — it is deeply connected to the mind and to our inner biology. Research in epigenetics, neuroplasticity, and PNEI (Psycho-Neuro-Endocrine-Immunology) shows how the way we move and breathe directly influences our health.
Epigenetics teaches us that our lifestyle shapes gene expression. Releasing physical and emotional tension through myofascial bodywork can help rebalance the hormonal system, reduce cortisol (the stress hormone), and support a state of relaxation and vitality.
Neuroplasticity shows that the brain constantly changes, and that every experience can reshape its neural pathways. Conscious touch, deep breathing, and body-based practices help interrupt patterns of pain, creating new neural circuits more supportive of well-being.
Finally, PNEI confirms the connection between the mind, nervous system, hormones, and immune function. Myofascial bodywork stimulates the vagus nerve, promoting deep relaxation, better sleep, and stronger immune response.
In essence, taking care of the body also means developing sensory awareness, cultivating responsibility toward oneself, and facing daily stress with greater resilience and presence.
Relieve physical and emotional tension through touch, movement and breath. Discover myofascial release in a peaceful space in the heart of nature.
THE BENEFITS OF BODYWORK
PRACTICING MYOFASCIAL BODYWORK REGULARLY OFFERS MULTIPLE BENEFITS, BOTH PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL:
Reduces chronic pain and tension – Releases muscular and fascial blocks, easing stiffness, inflammation, and common discomforts like lower back pain, neck tension, and plantar fatigue.
Improves mobility – Helps the body move with more fluidity, stability, and harmony in daily life.
Releases stored emotions – The body holds onto stress, trauma, and memories: myofascial release supports their gentle and respectful release.
Regulates the nervous system – Reduces anxiety and stress, fostering a deep balance between body and mind.
Increases vital energy – As the fascia relaxes and the body opens, energy begins to flow more freely.
Supports deeper sleep – Letting go of physical tension promotes restorative rest and greater vitality upon waking.
Strengthens the immune system – A state of consistent relaxation helps reinforce natural defenses and promotes long-term wellbeing.
MYOFASCIAL BODYWORK SESSIONS
DURATION AND LOCATION
Individual myofascial bodywork sessions at Sento Life last 1 hour and 30 minutes – a time designed to allow the body to relax, open up, and rediscover fluidity in movement and sensation.
The first session lasts 2 hours, offering space for deep listening, dialogue, and a personalised understanding of your physical and emotional needs. This initial moment is essential for creating a tailor-made process, supporting both body and person with respect, presence, and care.
Each session unfolds at a natural pace, without force.Through conscious touch, movement, and breath, we allow the body to reclaim its own balance, in a way that is both spontaneous and deeply grounded.
Sessions can be held in Italian or English, and are adapted to your needs, honouring your timing and your unique inner rhythm.
They take place in Verscio, in the Canton of Ticino, at the Sento Life studio – but I’m also available in Lugano, or can travel on request for individual or group sessions in other areas.
Sometimes, all it takes is a quiet place and the willingness to listen to what the body is trying to say.
